Magnetic Validations
The Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972 (Act No. 54 of 1972) requires that all food handling enterprises may not handle food without a fully implemented Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point System (HACCP). At Protech, we understand the importance of this system and can assist by testing and evaluating your magnets that are used for metal contamination removal. We provide full documentation which can be used together with your existing HACCP procedures.
This report will identify the strength and general condition of your magnets and whether they are fit for purpose. In addition, we evaluate your process flow and the critical points thereof which may require additional protection, as well as propose the appropriate solutions.

Solis offers advice with regards to the placement of each product, thus enabling the client to maximize their magnetic protection for each product line. This product overview will enable the client to gain a better understanding of what Solis offers.
We feel that by enabling the client to fully understand the magnet and its operating parameters, a more comprehensive solution can be achieved.
The figure shows a simplified food process flow. This just gives a basic overview of where the different magnets are typically installed and will enable the client to see that sometimes multiple magnets are required to ensure high levels of magnetic extraction.
